Jim Kempner Fine Art presents Marcus and Red, an exhibition of oil paintings by Jim Watt that explores this very question. 

Marcus and Red will debut on Saturday, September 26th and will run through October 18th at Jim Kempner Fine Art in Chelsea. The artist will join us at the gallery for an opening reception on Saturday, September 26th from 6-8pm at 501 W 23rd Street (entrance is on 10th Avenue).

Ten Perfect Guests: Jonathan Santlofer Book Launch

Join us at Jim Kempner Fine Art on Thursday, September 10th at 6:30pm as Jonathan Santlofer, artist, legal counterfeiter, and bestselling author, joins Bibliotheque and Jim Kempner Fine Art to talk about his newest novel, Ten Perfect Guests. Marrying the best of Agatha Christie with the psychological intensity of Alex Michaelides, this page-turning thriller pulls back the curtain on the art world’s hidden rivalries, secrets, and moral rot.

Jonathan will be joined in conversation by award-winning, bestselling author Joyce Carol Oates. The evening will include an author conversation, audience Q&A, book signing, and refreshments.

This is a ticketed, book-bundled event. Copies of Jonathan’s previous novels, The Last Mona Lisa and The Lost Van Gogh, will also be available for purchase, along with Joyce Carol Oates’s latest short story collection, The Frenzy.
