Arnold skolnick

Arnold Skolnick (1937-2022) was a graphic designer best known for creating the iconic poster for the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair. With just a few days’ notice, he designed the now-famous image of a white dove perched on a guitar neck, set against bold, simple lettering. The poster’s design captured the spirit of peace and the music that defined the festival. Today it still remains one of the most recognizable images in pop culture.
